NEW PATTERN: Coronet Beret GET YOURS TODAY!

Face The Facing

Making the facing land evenly with the top edge and the hem so it's smooth, with no jog, and with a professional result is super painless to do.

All ya gotta do is, after picking up your 3 stitches for every 4 rows along the centre fronts, make sure to add another stitch at the top and the bottom for the selvedge stitches. These spare stitches will curl and disappear. Best for these two to be beyond the garment than within it, I say! Mine, are not bad. I'm satisfied with them. The facing on the left (me wearing the bomber on my left in the photo, so the second photo) has a bit of a slub, but I'm super fine with it. The Virgo within will let this pass.
